In this session, we will explore the importance of creating a culture of eSafety in schools. We will discuss the challenges and risks associated with technology use in today's classrooms, and the critical role that educators play in promoting safe and responsible online behaviour. We will share practical strategies for integrating eSafety into school curricula and policies, including the development of age-appropriate lesson plans, the establishment of clear guidelines for technology use, and the implementation of effective monitoring and reporting systems. We will also highlight the importance of ongoing professional development and community engagement in fostering a culture of e-safety. By the end of this talk, attendees will have a better understanding of the key components of a successful eSafety program and the steps they can take to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
